Western Leatherwood

I took this portrait of Western Leatherwood while on assignment for Bay Nature. It is from a story I wrote about Huckleberry Botanic Regional Preserve. Capturing this plant during its peak bloom was quite an adventure. I had to go back to the park for multiple visits.
